RED LIGHT CAMERA ENFORCEMENT Comparing 2019 to 2020, the department experienced a 7% decrease in the total number of red light citations issued. A new red light camera was installed at the intersection of 159th & 94th Avenue in September 2020 to help increase motorists’ compliance with the traffic signal through the issuance of citations. This intersection has been the leading intersection for traffic crashes for several years and the red light camera installation was an effort to mitigate the issue.
