ESDA EMERGENCY SERVICES & DISASTER AGENCY

The Orland Park Emergency Services & Disaster Agency is comprised of volunteer officers. ESDA serves the Village of Orland Park and surrounding communities through Mutual Aid support. The organization is deployed for emergency and non-emergency situations. This community-based organization trains all officers in many areas of emergency services and disaster mitigation and relief. Orland Park ESDA members bring their dedication to the organization to serve the community in times of need. Orland Park ESDA members logged a total of 2,632.75 volunteer hours in 2020 which equates to 73% percent increase when compared to 2019. ESDA members were an invaluable asset in responding to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. They volunteered a total of 540.25 hours assisting with pandemic-related incidents. In August, 2020, Orland Park ESDA staff assisted Will County Sheriff’s Police in the search for a missing person.
