MINI DANCE COMPANY Mini Dance Company is for the serious dancer ready to take the next step! Dancers will continue to learn dance technique while gaining confidence and working together as a team. There will be several performance opportunities throughout the year along with the end of the year recital. One costume is included in the registration fee. All dancers must audition on August 22nd—NO EXCEPTIONS . Please wear appropriate dance attire to auditions. Auditions will begin at exactly 6:30 pm. NOTE: a mandatory parent meeting will be held at 6:15 PM the same day. Dancers will not be allowed to audition unless a parent is in attendance. Fees may be paid in full or with a payment plan that has been set-up by the Village. Rehearsals and classes follow the same schedule as the dance class (September to December, and January to June), ending with the recital in June. No class the week of Thanksgiving and Spring Break. May 5 is a non-attendance day unless it is needed for a make-up class. NEW DAY

Dancers will continue their dance education through technique classes and performances while building their confidence and working together as a team. There will be multiple performing opportunities throughout the year along with the end of the year recital. Two costumes are included in the fee to be used for these appearances. All dancers must audition on August 23 or 24—NO EXCEPTIONS. Please wear appropriate dance attire to auditions. Auditions will begin at exactly 6:30 pm. NOTE: a mandatory parent meeting will be held at 6:15 PM the same day. Dancers will not be allowed to audition unless a parent is in attendance. MODERN DANCE This class will incorporate many of the foundations of modern dance technique, including suspension and release, fall and recovery, the use of momentum and connecting breath with movement. Dancers will explore new ways of moving in combinations, floor work and partnering, and also in various methods of improvisation. No class November 23.

ADULT DANCE These adult dance classes are a great way to not only exercise your body, but also your mind. Dance will not only help individuals develop style and rhythm but it will also help your balance, strength, and memory. Learn the basic fundamentals along with choreography in either ballet or tap in a fun, stress-free environment. Please wear comfortable clothing and required tap or ballet shoes. No class October 6, and November 23 & 24.
