SANTA’S NORTH POLE ADVENTURE

**Please note, this program does not include a Metra train ride due to the limited Orland Park schedule.** Santa and Mrs. Claus invite you on a North Pole Adventure! Visit with Santa at the 143rd Street Metra station; drink hot cocoa and s’mores by bonfire at Crescent Park; Visit the Toy Workshop to build your own toy and ride a trackless train around the Civic Center Holiday Lights! All participants will need a North Pole Adventure Ticket to join the adventure on December 9th or December 10th. HOLIDAY FESTIVAL TREE LIGHTING & PARADE DAY/DATE: Sunday /Nov 27 TIME: 4p- 7p | LOCATION: Civic Center OPEN TO ALL AGES!

COMMUNITY TREE TRIMMING EVENT Gather your family or group and celebrate the start of the holiday season at our 8th annual community tree trim. Scout troops, youth and church groups, athletic teams, and community members are invited to adopt a tree to decorate in their own special way.The community trees will will be part of the spectacular lawn decor at our Holiday Festival, Sunday, November 27. • $25 to adopt a tree—Limited quantities available • Trees available on a first-come, first-served basis • Trees are approximately 5’ tall and will include lights • You provide the decorations (hand-made or store bought) • Tree decoration needs to be completed by Saturday, November 26 • Groups/organizations can have a tree sponsor • Trees will be assigned and labeled with each organization and tree sponsor name, if applicable • Please remove decorations by Monday, January 11 PROGRAM#: 92222 FEE: $25/tree LIMIT: 20 Tree Adoption Forms | Full Details—708.403.5000 DECK THE HOUSE CONTEST Join us for our 3rd annual Village sponsored Holiday Lights House Decorating Contest. Free to participate. Addresses will be published so others can enjoy a ride by and get into the holiday spirit! RULES & PARTICIPATION INFORMATION: • Entry is limited to Orland Park residents/homes • All city ordinances, including the noise ordinance, must be followed. • Entries must be received no later than Wednesday, December 14.

Kick off the holiday season right here in Orland Park with our annual holiday festival, tree lighting and parade. Festivities will include the spectacular lighted decor display on the village lawn, holiday market with crafts, holiday items and food available for purchase, live entertainment and much more. Santa will be joining us to complete the holiday fun to be sure to bring your camera! The parade begins at 4:00pm immediately followed by the festival. Join at the Village Hall circle at 5:00pm for the official lighting of the holiday tree. HOLIDAY PARADE Interested in joining our parade? We are seeking community groups (Scouts, church, youth, non- profit, etc.) dance groups, and businesses. LIONS CLUB CHRISTMAS TREE & WREATH SALE
