SPRING BREAK HISTORY ADVENTURES Spend a couple days at the museum for spring break! We will learn about fun history topics, including pioneer life, make crafts, and play games. Be sure to pack a snack for break!

Does your middle schooler enjoy history? Do they want to learn more and meet new students? Have them participate in the museum’s new home- school workshop! Students will not only learn about American history over the course of six- weeks, but they will also engage in fun activities. Be sure to pack a snack for break.

WILDERNESS MEDICINE CAMP

VALENTINE’S DAY PARTY PROG#: 92921 | DATE: Feb 12 Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate loved ones and friends. Join us at the museum with your American Girl doll to create fun valentines, share special stories, and play games. A short break will be given in between activities, so be sure to bring a snack! SPRING CELEBRATION PROG#: 92930 | DATE: Apr 2 Bring in the spring celebrating with your American Girl doll! Come to the museum to play games, paint your own mason jar, and plant a flower! A short break will be given, so don’t forget to bring a snack!

Join museum staff on the first Thursday of every month after school to learn about a historic person, partake in a fun activity, and play games! A fun program to burn off some steam after school!

Spring is in the air, and it is time to spend some time outdoors! In this two-day camp, kids will learn about snake bites, poisonous plants, forest fires, tornadoes, mosquitoes, and distress signals. Opportunities to role-play emergency situations in the wild will be offered and other fun-themed activities will be provided to give kids a fun experience! A hands-on camp that will surely get all participants prepared for any upcoming family camping trips.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES AT THE MUSEUM

Looking for a cool place that has unique, fun-themed birthday parties? Have your next party at the Orland Park History Museum! Choose one of the themes geared towards your child’s age and historic interests. Parties are 2 hours and will include a themed craft and activity. Tablecloths will be provided. Other types of tablecloths and/or decorations can be brought in if desired. Time for cake and opening gifts will also be allotted. Parties are tailored for children ages 4 - 10 years old.
