SPRING BREAK WORKSHOPS DATE: Mar 21-Mar 24 DAY: Monday-Thursday LOCATION: Franklin Loebe Center—Room 121 FEE: Resident $75 | Non-resident $113 CURIOUS CHIMPS Preschool children will explore the world of H.A. and Margaret Rey in this four-day workshop full of art and books. Each day a different Curious George book will be read with the students. Afterwards, children will draw a Young Rembrandts lesson which incorporates one aspect of the book just read together. Children’s creativity and imagination will play together as students bring their favorite books to life through their detailed drawings! Enroll your curious artist today! Young Rembrandts’ students will learn to illustrate the thing we all love to do-eat! Students will draw, decorate, build and color everything in the kitchen that relates to cooking and baking. Drawings will include funny kitchen cartoons, detailed still life scenes and delicious details to make them complete. Prepare for artwork that looks good enough to eat! Join us this Winter as we develop fine motor skills, language, and have a lot of fun. Young artists will be using pencils, crayons and markers to develop their art skills. We kick it off by drawing a snowman and moving into a firetruck and then finishing it up with an owl. Each week builds on the last as our courses are designed to develop their drawings and use a ton of creativity. We will provide all class supplies. Every month YR students draw a complex Art History piece and this season we’re highlighting Andy Warhol! Our awesome artists will be drawing cartoon lessons of dinosaurs at school, monsters and kids, robots and family photos that will boost their art skills and crack us everyone up! Come draw with us!
