HANDICAPPED PARKING CITATIONS
RED LIGHT CAMERA ENFORCEMENT Comparing 2023 to 2022, the department experienced an 23% decrease in the total number of red light citations issued. A new red light camera was installed at the intersection of 159th Street & 94th Avenue in September 2020 to help increase motorists’ compliance with the traffic signal through the issuance of citations. From 2022 to 2023, the intersection saw a massive 78% decrease in crashes, moving from the worst intersection in the Village to the fourth worst.
