THE ART OF FERRIS BUELLER Detail of American Windows, Marc Chagall
THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION & BEER Join us before the holiday weekend to learn about the Industrial Revolution and how it influenced brewing world-wide. Program focuses on pale beers, as technology to keep beer light in color was not invented until the early to mid-1800s. This created a revolution…where pale beers became, and still are, the most popular beers. Beers will be sampled!
In Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, the scene that takes place inside the Art Institute of Chicago lasts only two minutes, but it is certainly one of the most memorable. This program focuses on the 16 pieces of art featured in the movie while relaying facts, stories and quotes about the 1986 American teen comedy.
