MUSEUM MEMBERSHIPS $15 INDIVIDUAL / $25 FAMILY

The Orland Park History Museum invites you to contribute to local history by signing up for an annual membership! Your membership will support exhibits, programs and preservation projects. A membership also provides free or discounted prices on special events or programs. Memberships may be purchased at the Sportsplex office, Village Hall cashier’s office, Museum or online. Contact Museum Curator Sarah Stasukewicz at sstasukewicz@orlandpark.org with questions.

A TASTE OF WINTER Join us for an afternoon of wine and snacks at the historic Humphrey House. A variety of wines will be offered to sample. A presentation about the mystery behind Orland Park’s name will also be given!

THE 80s With 80s fashion coming back and the hype of the Netflix show “Stranger Things,” we are going to reminisce the 80s at the Museum! Join us for this fun evening of memories. Participants over the age of 21 will get to enjoy a refreshing wine cooler, which became popular in 1981!

GOT CHOCOLATE? Start the Valentine’s Day weekend at the Museum with homemade chocolate! A live demonstration will be given and samples of chocolate with wine will be provided.

SPRING TEA TASTING Join us for an afternoon of tea and refreshments at the historic Humphrey House. A variety of teas will be offered to sample! Following the tasting, take a short stroll down Beacon Ave. to learn about its history.

ORLAND PARK HISTORY TOURS One-hour guided group tours are available! PRICING (Supplies not included.) General Public: $ 35 for 10 people, $3 per person (exceeding 10) Non-Profits (scouts, churches, municipalities): $25 for 10 people, $2 per person (exceeding 10) Orland schools are free! TYPE OF TOURS Old Orland: includes Museum, Beacon Avenue, Humphrey House and outbuildings. (Hostert Cabins and Chiappetti Slaughterhouse can be added for an additional $10) Stellwagen: Includes all buildings on site. Farmhouse is closed to visitors due to restoration.
