PEEWEE FLOOR HOCKEY

NEW BOOK WORMS Meet each week to read and discuss a new book or short story of the group’s choosing. We will do projects, play games, and other fun activities based on the theme of the book. This programwill help children in areas of reading comprehension, socialization, and cooperative learning. No class March 28.

CRITTER CLASS Get up close and personal with some of the planet’s most exotic creatures! Each week you will come face to face with various rare reptiles, amphibians and bugs. Learn about the land in which these animals are from, how they are cared for, and what they do in the wild. New animals are featured each class.

NEW

This new intramural hockey class will offer an opportunity for your young player to try the sport off the ice! Learn the basics of the sport each week and play a competitive game while learning the importance of sportsmanship. No class March 29.

Mar 7-Apr 18 CHESS SCHOLARS Develop your child’s intellect through the royal game of chess! Current research has shown a strong link between chess and academic performance. Also, chess has been proven to enhance children’s motivation, concentration, focus, social skills and creativity. No previous knowledge of chess necessary. Each class will consist of a fun interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Both beginner and experienced players are welcome and will get to the next level under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach. ANYTHING BUT A BRUSH

MAGIC CLASS Gary Kantor returns with his fascinating magic tricks. Students will learn tricks involving cards, ropes, coins and much more! Mesmerize friends and family with age appropriate tricks. Each child receives a magic kit to take home. Each class taught by Gary features brand new tricks so join us for more magical fun!
