In 2023, the Human Resources Department worked diligently to support the goals and challenges of the Village by providing services that promote a work environment that is characterized by fair treatment of staff, open communication, personal accountability, trust and mutual respect. We sought to optimize the operating principles of the organization through a variety of ways. The initial segment of the Village-wide Leadership Development Program was a success. All 30 participating management and supervisory staff received valuable information on how to motivate, inspire and develop those who report to them, while also ensuring that the goals of the team align with the large goals of the organization as a whole.
