The mission of the Department of Information Technology is to support Village services by providing innovative, reliable, cost effective, and secure technology that enables Village residents and staff to quickly and effortlessly access accurate information. The department continually evaluates the systems and processes and employs helpful and competent IT personnel. To this end, the department completed over 20 projects in 2023, including the

The department also completed the upgrade of the audio-visual system at the Civic Center with a flexible integrated system that can send presentations to a single room or span all rooms in the facility. The department continues to focus on cyber security initiatives that included the completion of an audit of the Village systems and IT Cybersecurity profile. Other security-focused projects that were completed in 2023 include deploying multi-factor authentication and Managed Response and Detection (MDR) with a 24x7 security operations center to monitor cyber security threats and proactively block risks for all devices connected to
