The lockup population is defined as the number of prisoners (juvenile/adult) housed in cells at the Orland Park Police Department awaiting transfer to court, another police department or for bond. In 2024, the average adult prisoner stay in a cell prior to release or transfer was 11 hours and 45 minutes. The average juvenile prisoner remained housed for 4 hours and 15 minutes.
