The chart below lists the top five officer-initiated citations to motorists. Expired registration plates was the leading ticket issued in Orland Park in 2024.

Speeding citations are the highest citations issued, as speeding continues to be on the rise. Multiple IDOT grant funded details are conducted throughout the year to counter it. Distracted driving came in as the third most citations written and continues to be a concern in Orland Park.
