All Aboard, the train ride is back! Journey to the North Pole with Santa and Mrs. Claus aboard the North Pole Express. Get your golden ticket stamped by our very own conductor, enjoy holiday treats, crafts and admission to the Oak Lawn Children's Museum. Listen to a rendition of the popular holiday story on the way to the North Pole and sing-a-long to holiday music and get a special gift on the ride back home. Passengers will board the train at the Orland Park 143rd Street Metra Station and return home on the scheduled train from the Oak Lawn Metra Station. TICKET PICK-UP: Village of Orland Park Sportsplex, 11351 W. 159th Street on the following days: Friday, Dec 6, 10 AM-4 PM Parents and guardians may register for one day (Thursday or Friday) and immediate family members only. (Immediate family members are defined as parents and their non-adult children residing in the same household). Thank you grandparents, aunts and uncles for your understanding. Tickets are not transferable and refunds will not be given less than seven days prior to the date of the program. The Village of Orland Park is not responsible for any passengers who miss the scheduled Metra train. Space is limited on a first-come, first-served basis. Register early! Kick off the holiday season right here in Orland Park with our annual holiday parade, tree lighting and festival. Festivities will include the spectacular lighted decor display on the village lawn, holiday market with crafts, holiday items and food available for purchase, live entertainment and much more. Santa will be joining us to complete the holiday fun. The parade begins at 4 PM immediately followed by the tree lighting and festival. Join at the Village Hall circle at 5 PM for the official lighting of the holiday tree.

LIONS CLUB CHRISTMAS TREE & WREATH SALE

The Lions Club will be selling Christmas trees and wreaths daily, starting November 24 until the trees are sold out.

COMMUNITY TREE TRIMMING EVENT Gather your family or group and celebrate the start of the holiday season at our 9th annual community tree trim. Scout troops, youth and church groups, athletic teams and community members are invited to adopt a tree to decorate in their own special way. The community trees will be part of the spectacular lawn decor at our Christmas Festival, Sunday, December 1. • $25 to adopt a tree—Limited quantities available • Trees available—First-come, first-served • Trees are approximately 5’ tall and will include white lights • You provide the decorations (hand-made or store bought) • Tree decoration needs to be completed by Saturday, November 30 • Trees will be assigned and labeled with each organization and tree sponsor • Please remove decorations by Mon, Jan 6 PROGRAM#: 98186 FEE: $25/tree LIMIT: 20 Tree Adoption Forms/Full Details—708.403.5000

SANTA’S PIT STOP * AT SPORTSPLEX DAY/DATE: Saturday / December 7 TIME: 9 AM-12 PM Santa will be making his annual stop at the Sportsplex. Bring your camera to capture a picture of your child’s visit with Santa. No fee or pre-registration necessary.
