UNIVERSE IN SPACE Come on an adventure building and programming functional robots using LEGO bricks in this super fun program. Learn about space, space travel and investigate topics in earth and space science.
INCREDIBLE INVENTIONS
Do you enjoy inventing new things? Learn about the process real inventors go through while you help design, build and program robotic models to solve problems using LEGO bricks and robotics.

ABC’S & 123’S Children will learn their colors, shapes, letters and numbers using DUPLO bricks and other supplies during this fun program. This program is designed to reinforce the current curriculum being taught to preschoolers. To strengthen their knowledge in a playful manner, children are engaged in both structured and imaginative play during each session and singing. 3 to 6 LOCATION: Franklin Loebe Center—Room LL109 INTERMEDIATE REMOTE CONTROL ROBOTS How can you build the strongest and most agile robot? Can your robot win a head-to-head combat mission? Come learn engineering strategies for building sturdy structures using LEGO bricks and then have a blast as you play robot football, complete an obstacle course, pick up your neighbor’s robot and play the hoop challenge in this fun robotics program. BRICKS ACROSS AMERICA
Explore the joy of the fall season. Kids will utilize their teamwork skills, building abilities and creativity to participate in a variety of activities. They will be building creations that answer questions such as, “What’s your favorite fall outside activity?” and “What’s the weather like during the fall where you live?” No class November 5.
Students will work together to learn fun facts about each US state and territory. They will work with a partner to build one important item from each state’s identity out of LEGO bricks. They will then present this to the class and by the end of the program, they will have a greater understanding of key aspects of each U.S. State. No class November 28.
