Kids, conquer the great outdoors! Campers will learn about snake bites, poisonous plants, bugs and distress signals. Role-play emergency situations, like tying a tourniquet, wrapping a splint for a broken leg and filtering dirty water. Also, learn how there are 20 ways to use a bandana. A camp that will surely get kids prepared for upcoming camping trips! All supplies will be provided. Please bring a snack for break time. In this make and take program, guests will learn how to build their own fall outdoor porch pot filled with autumn annuals and greenery, making it a perfect garden decoration for the upcoming months. Guests will also be able to decorate their containers. All supplies (pots, soil, annuals) will be included and guests will be able to take their completed porch pots home. Light refreshments and wine will be served for those 21 and over. Your membership will support programs, special events and preservation projects. A membership also provides free or discounted prices on special events or programs. Memberships may be purchased at the Sportsplex office, Village Hall cashier’s office or online.
