A MESSAGE FROM MAYOR PEKAU
The Village of Orland Park is pleased to present the Winter/Spring Program Guide. Within the guide, you will find recreational, cultural and educational opportunities that are sure to appeal to all ages, skill levels and interests. I hope everyone will join us November 26 as we kick off the holiday season with the annual Village of Orland Park Christmas Festival. This festive event has quickly become a community favorite and includes a parade, tree lighting and market. On December 31, families are invited to ring in the New Year at the Children's New Year's Eve Celebration held at the Winter Wonderland Ice Rink. The start of the new year is a great time to kick-off a new commitment to fitness and wellness. The Village’s Sportsplex and the Orland Park Health and Fitness Center are fully equipped with cardio and strength equipment, indoor tracks and a large variety of group exercise and specialty classes. Don’t let the winter weather keep you from being active. The Winter Wonderland Ice Rink at Centennial Park is scheduled to open November 25. Sledding fun can be found at Centennial and Marley Creek Parks. Don’t forget man’s best friend loves the cold weather. The DogOut Dog Park continues to be open to members year-round. Check out the great variety of camps offered over spring break and into the summer months. The Village’s preschool programs provide children with a head start in learning, socialization and independence in a fun, supportive environment. All details for the 2023/2024 sessions are included in the guide. I look forward to seeing everyone out and about enjoying all of the wonderful opportunities for recreation and leisure in Orland Park.
