JUNIOR OWLS ATHLETICS

OWLS SOCCER Join the exciting fast pace sport of soccer! Athletes will work on endurance, balance, coordination and teamwork. Our team will have two weeks of practice to prepare for games and will compete in the District Tournament in April.

OWLS SOFTBALL SPRING TRAINING Calling all Owls Softball athletes, come out and train for your best season yet! Athletes will work on their hitting, fielding, throwing and catching to prepare for their upcoming schedule. Please note this program is designed for athletes planning to participate in Owls Softball.

Junior Owls Athletics is designed to introduce children ages 3-7 into the world of sports. The goal is to improve physically, cognitively and socially through sports participation. This program introduces a variety of sports focusing on basic skill development. Come be part of the Owls Athletics family.

OWLS SOFTBALL Join the excitement of America’s favorite pastime! Teams will be assessed and grouped according to skill/ ability level and will consist of a coach pitch team and traditional slow pitch teams. No class July 2.

OWLS POWERLIFTING Ready to pump some iron? Athletes can participate in the bench press, deadlift and squat competitions. Athletes will receive instructions from Special Olympics Illinois certified coaches to work on proper form, grip and techniques to maximize fitness goals. Come push your fitness levels to the max and go for the gold. No class Feb 19, Mar 4, 25 & Apr 1.

Dust off the shot put and lace up your running shoes, it’s Track and Field season! Athletes will have the opportunity to compete in a variety of running and field events based on interest and skill level. Athletes will compete at the Spring Games tournament in May.

OWLS ATHLETICS INTRODUCES STACK TEAM APP Stack Team App is a sports schedule system that allows users to access team information via their smart phone or computer. HOW IT WORKS: • Each session your athlete will be added to their specific team page using families primary email on file. You will receive an email notifying you when your athlete has been added to his or her team in the system. • Upon accessing your specific team, you will be able to view schedule, transportation, tournament details and more. • Automatic reminders and updates will go directly to your email or phone weekly. OWLS / U.S. GOLF Fore! It’s time to hit the links for another exciting season of golf. Athletes can participate as an individual golfer, skills competition or a unified partner. Athletes can also choose three, six or nine hole golf competition. We will work on hand-eye coordination, balance and mental toughness. Join this great sport with your friends or family members! No class July 4.
