EARLY CHILDHOOD LITTLE LEARNERS

ALL BY MYSELF Introduce independence and preschool basics in a classroom setting without a parent or caregiver through educational games, story time and cooperative play. This is a drop-off program, parents are allowed in the waiting room. Children will be given a three-class grace period to adjust. Children not demonstrating proper behavior will be asked to withdraw. Instructors will not change diapers. NOTE: Participants can register for one class per day only. No class November 25 & 27.

LITTLE MOVERS Promote physical education through a variety of gym and sports equipment, active songs, relay races, and games geared towards preschoolers. A semi-structured environment builds confidence as skills progress and coordination develops. No class November 27.

Take the first step to get ready for preschool! Learn basic preschool curriculum such as letter and number recognition, identifying shapes and colors, and fine motor skills through games, songs, and peer socialization all while following basic classroom instruction. No class November 28.

INCLUSION The Village of Orland Park welcomes participants with special needs in all areas of programming. We strive to make all programs an optimal experience by providing reasonable accommodations to the program. The Special Recreation Division provides inclusion assistance to programs servicing clientele ages 3 years and up. Please indicate at the time of registration that 1:1 assistance is needed. Programs that are not eligible for 1:1 services are as follows: Parent/Tot classes, off-site and/or contracted programs and day care services. If you are requesting inclusion services, please contact the Special Recreation Supervisor at 708.403.6269 two weeks prior to the start of the program in order to start the inclusion process.
