THEATRE CHILDREN’S THEATRE AUDITIONS

KID’S "IMPROV"ABLE AUDITIONS Is your child quick-witted and funny? They need a place to showcase that talent! Auditions for the team will be Friday, August 15, (6 PM-8 PM) and Saturday, August 16, (12 PM-2 PM). All children between the ages of 11-18 are welcome. Rehearsals will be Saturdays, 11 AM-12:30 PM from August 23 until May 9. Members will work on their improv skills, learn new games and perform in live shows open to the public. No monies are collected unless cast, auditions are free. JUNIOR JOKESTERS Kids participate in fun games and a variety of sketches which teach them the skills and art of improvisational humor and joke-telling. Several participating youth in the area have used this introductory class as improv training for Kids Improv-able auditions. At the program’s conclusion, a one-time showcase will be sure to leave your whole family laughing and intrigued at the kids’ quick wit and stage presence. KIDS ON BROADWAY After the success of "It's Not NOT a Musical" and "Into the Woods Jr.," our Children's Theater is ready to present another musical production! We're looking for expressive kids who are ready to shine on stage in our very own, kids only, Broadway revue show! For auditions, choose only one day to attend. Please prepare any showtune of your choice: from upbeat and comical, to a reflective ballad. Be ready to sing your prepared song, as well as dance with our choreographer. Once cast, kids will experience the thrill of being part of musical theater. Rehearsal days/times are TBD, based on schedules of the cast and team. No fees are collected unless cast.
