TOP FIVE CITATIONS ISSUED

The chart below lists the top five officer-initiated citations to motorists. Expired registration plates was the leading ticket issued in Orland Park in 2024.

Speeding citations accounted for the highest number of citations issued, as speeding violations continue to increase. Multiple IDOT grant funded details are conducted throughout the year to address the issue. Distracted driving ranked third among the most frequently issued citations and continues to be a significant concern in Orland Park.
