VÁMONOS YOUTH SPANISH

I SPEAK SPANISH! Did you know that young children learn languages naturally and much more easily than older children and adults? Introduce your child to the Spanish language in these Spanish immersion classes developed especially for young learners. Children will be immersed in the Spanish language through fun and educational activities and music. No class July 4.

BAGPIPE LESSONS Learn a new instrument under the instruction of the talented Doonaree Pipe Band! The Doonaree Pipe Band, a premier bagpipes ensemble, has won Champion Supreme Grade V two times at competitions and performs at St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, parades, the Taste of Orland Park, and more. Students will be learning on a practice chanter, which should be purchased separately; please have the chanter for the first lesson. No music experience is necessary to join. As students progress, they will be integrated into the Doonaree Pipe Band. No class July 10 & 17.

Learning a second language can open a world of possibilities for your child. In this class, students will learn Spanish conversation and some Spanish grammar, reading and writing skills through interactive and engaging activities. New and exciting material each session! No class July 4.

ESCAPE SNAPOLOGY BEGINNER Escape Snapology Beginner emphasizes teamwork, creativity, logical thinking and encourages problem solving as students work together to solve puzzles and complete tasks based on a fun and interactive theme.

POKEMANIA Pokemania takes over Snapology! Build and explore the world of Pokemon by creating custom gyms, battles, and your very own generation of Pokemon. Have a blast learning about Pokemon habitats becoming the best Pokemon trainer ever!

Incorporated on May 25, 1993, the Doonaree Pipe Band is a member of the Midwest Pipe Band Association, competing at Grade V. They are honored to have won Champion Supreme Grade V two times! The Doonaree Pipe Band performs at St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, parades, the Taste of Orland Park and are also available for weddings and funerals.

INCLUSION The Village of Orland Park welcomes participants with special needs in all areas of programming. We strive to make all programs an optimal experience by providing reasonable accommodations to the program. The Special Recreation Division provides inclusion assistance to programs servicing clientele ages 3 years and up. Please indicate at the time of registration that 1:1 assistance is needed. Programs that are not eligible for 1:1 services are as follows: Parent/Tot classes, off-site and/or contracted programs and day care services. Looking for something fun AND educational for your child to do this summer? In this class, children will decorate their very own mini piñata while
