In 2025, the Human Resources Department continued its commitment to professionally and responsibly managing the human capital of the Village, and support the goals, mission and challenges of the Village, by servicing all levels of the workforce to promote a safe, diverse work environment that is characterized by equitable treatment of staff, consistency in communication, excellence in service, professional growth opportunities, self-accountability, confidence in our practices and mutual respect. The Human Resources Department’s day-to-day accomplishments grow with each new initiative as the department welcomes the challenge to exceed expectations and pushes to optimize the operating rinciples of the organization.

The Human Resources Department will continue to spread leadership skills utilizing: • Employee incentive/recognition programs • Valuable cross-departmental learning opportunities • Enhancement of personal career development • Inspiring personal leadership narratives • Promotion of effective communication and service • Management of all state and federal compliance Mandated training was successfully promoted and completed by existing and incoming employees to include: • Sexual harassment • Indoor and outdoor safety • Hazardous materials labels • Active shooter best practices • Ethics and code of conduct
