Centennial Park Aquatic Center (CPAC) In 2025, CPAC marked its 34th season, welcoming 87,493 total visits to its aquatic amenities over the 88-day season. Of these visits, 52,068 were made by members. CPAC had 6,525 members in 2025, 78.6% of whom were residents. Membership types were predominantly family memberships (84%), followed by senior (10%), couple (4%), and individual (2%) memberships. During the course of the summer, 1,083 swim lessons were taught to children of all ages and skill levels in both group and individual lessons. Pool staff are especially proud to have been awarded the 5-Star Aquatic Safety Award by StarGuard Elite (SGE) for 2025 audit performance. Earning a 5-Star rating reflects CPAC’s continued commitment to the highest standards of aquatic safety, staff training and operational excellence.
Pickleball Comes to Orland Park! In 2026, the Village plans to build four outdoor, lighted courts behind the Sportsplex and nine lighted pickleball courts at Centennial Park. Bids for construction of the courts are anticipated for early 2026 with the goal of breaking ground in early spring, and ready for play by fall. Feasibility Studies In 2026, four feasibility studies will be conducted at a budgeted cost of $420,000. These include: • Centennial Park West Strategic Operating Plan • East Fieldhouse, Senior Activity Center and Family Play Destination • Performing Arts Center • Athletic Field Strategic Operating Plan • Sportsplex and Orland Park Health & Fitness Center Athletics Division The Athletics Division works to provide high-quality athletic fields that meet the needs of users and maintains courts in neighborhood parks throughout Orland Park. In 2025, the Village hosted 6,560 field rentals, earning $362,391 in revenue, plus $35,350 in non-resident participation fees. In 2026, the Village expects 20 baseball/softball tournaments, including four national tournaments, at the John Humphrey Complex and Centennial Park. This influx of athletes, coaches and families supports the Village’s retail community and positively influences sales tax, which helps fund programs aimed at enhancing residents’ quality of life.
