2026 Court Improvements: In 2026, $500,000 is budgeted for athletic court repairs. Based on an assessment of court conditions, the following courts are planned for repairs in 2026: • Eagle Ridge tennis/pickleball court • Discovery Park tennis and basketball courts • Doogan Park tennis courts • Emerald Estates Park basketball court • Long Run Creek Park basketball court • Veterans Park tennis, basketball and inline hockey courts Centennial Park Fields 1 – 5 Dugouts Centennial Park fields 1-5 dugouts are the original dugouts constructed in 1992. The dugouts do not have shade coverings, are undersized and experience flooding with moderate rain. Additionally, the 8” x 8” timber retaining walls in some dugouts have shifted and begun to lean inward, indicating structural movement and loss of stability. In 2026, $960,000 has been budgeted for engineering, design and construction of new dugouts for Centennial Park baseball/softball fields 1 – 5. Recreation Programs Division In 2026, the Recreation and Parks Department looks forward to offering a variety of recreation programs and services for all ages and interests. New initiatives in 2026 will include new programming geared towards older and active adults including bus trips, theater outings and programming.

2025 Dance Program (Adult and Youth): •One show, 560 tickets sold earning $6,720 •Participation: 1,139 registrations including 839 resident registrations •Revenues: $56,573 2025 Summer Day Camp: •Participation: 911 registrations including 788 resident registrations •Revenues: $337,883 2025 Preschool/Preschool Plus: •Participation: 198 students including 177 resident registrations •Revenues: $223,386 Civic Center In 2025, the Civic Center remained a central hub for Village events, department programs, resident engagement and special occasions. Weekly activities included senior cards, Illinois Shotokan Karate and Kiwanis Bingo, alongside family celebrations and business meetings. The Civic Center’s two large event spaces accommodate up to 200 guests, hosting highlights such as the Children’s New Year’s Eve celebration, Cinderella’s Ball, National Night Out, Veterans Day Ceremony, Boy Scouts Court of Honor, Memorial Day Ceremony, Holiday Festival and Taste of Orland Park. It hosted 762 rentals, including 473 internal uses, generating $202,839 in revenue. Improvements included new doors, Exhibition Room upgrades and a modernized lobby. In 2026, the Civic Center will serve as an early voting site with planned accessibility and floor updates.
