Special Events 2025 Special Events included the return of the Taste of Orland to the Village Green. This served as the perfect setting for the 22nd year of the Taste. Feeling like a Village-wide block party, the Taste enjoyed perfect weather conditions, resulting in over 30,000 attendees over three days. The 2025 Taste was highlighted by headliners including Jason Scheff from Chicago and Tommy DeCarlo from Boston; Sixteen Candles and One Vision of Queen featuring Marc Martel; a patriotic tribute to veterans; a performance by the Carl Sandburg High School Marching Eagles; community stage with Battle of the Bands; Orland Park’s Got Talent; kids zone; local restaurants; a drone show and smusically-choreographed pyro-musical fireworks show. 2026 promises to be even bigger as the Village sets its sights on celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. It will be a once-in-a-generation opportunity to honor our nation’s history and celebrate together as a community. Stay tuned as America250 comes to life in Orland Park!

In 2025, a total of 295 businesses and organizations sponsored Village events and facilities, totaling $269,574.
