THE ARA PACE MEMORIAL ENGRAVINGS

Everyone is invited to forever honor and remember their favorite military personnel by adding the veteran’s name to the Orland Park Veteran’s Memorial, “Ara Pace–Place of Peace.” The Village’s memorial is located outside the Frederick T. Owens Village Hall, 14700 South Ravinia Ave. • The $125 cost to add the veteran’s name covers the cost of engraving and maintaining the memorial. • The Veteran’s Advisory Board hosts ceromonies at the memorial on annual days of observance— Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day. • The veteran, family and friends are recognized during the Village’s holiday ceremony. • Please include a copy of the military discharge papers or another official document indicating military service. • Veterans may be living or deceased and need not live in Orland Park. This year, we will also introduce the newly added names to the Orland Park Veterans Memorial, Ara Pace – Place of Peace, with tremendous gratitude and pride.
