LIFEGUARD APPRECIATION DAY FRIDAY, JULY 31 July 31st is International Lifeguard Appreciation Day and we’re celebrating the incredible lifeguards who keep CPAC safe all summer long! Throughout the day, guests are invited to compete in fun, friendly activities and challenges against CPAC’s finest lifeguards. Test your skills, learn what it takes to be part of an elite safety team and cheer on the guards who work hard every day to make the pool safe and enjoyable for everyone. WALLY’S LAZY RIVER FUN RUN 5K Ready to take on the next wave? Building off the excitement of the 2.5K, the 5K doubles the distance with 36 laps around the river. Open to participants ages 15 and up, this race ups the intensity with greater endurance, pacing and determination, all with Wally cheering you on. It’s the ultimate “make waves” challenge for those looking to level up their aquatic race experience. NOTE: Pre-registration required. Walk-up registrations will not be accepted. WALLY’S LAZY RIVER FUN RUN 2.5K Join Wally the Whale for a splashy 2.5K adventure through the lazy river! Open to participants ages 12 and up, this race features 18 laps of water-powered fun as you move through gentle currents and resistance. It’s the perfect, lighthearted introduction to aquatic racing. Exciting, approachable and Wally-approved for your teens, families and first time racers. NOTE: Pre-registration required. Walk-up registrations will not be accepted. ( Rain date July 5) NEW

WORLD’S LARGEST SWIM LESSON The Centennial Park Aquatic Center is excited to announce its participation in The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson (WLSL), a global movement to save lives. Since 2010, WLSL has empowered more than 413,000 participants, delivered 206,000+ hours of water safety training and reached BILLIONS with their message: #SwimmingLessonsSaveLives. Help us promote water safety and prevent drowning this summer. NOTE: Pre-registration required. Walk-up registrations will not be accepted.
