C elebrate the United States’ 250th anniversary at the Village of Orland Park’s new Memorial Day weekend kick-off event featuring a community parade, amateur Rib Cook-Off, live entertainment, kids’ activities, food trucks and a fireworks finale. GET INVOLVED • Parade Entries Welcome Floats, decorated vehicles, walking units and performing groups are invited to participate. Backyard grill masters can compete for bragging rights and prizes. $100 entry fee, includes 10 slabs. Scan the QR code for applications and full event details. Free entry.
