MIXED MEDIA FOR ADULTS

BASIC WATERCOLOR FOR ADULTS Have you ever wanted to try watercolor painting but didn’t know where to start? Adult artists of all ages and skill levels are welcome to join instructor Mark LaCien to learn the proper techniques for watercolor application so you can have the skills to paint it with confidence and create beautiful pieces of art. This fun, four-session class will give you the skills necessary to level up your painting to an intermediate or advanced level.

Calling artists of all skill levels and ages! Creating pieces of mixed media art is a fun, unique way to learn different forms of art. From watercolor and acrylic painting, to colored pencils, to masking, you'll gain experience in various practices and learn how to make mixed media art with confidence.

BAGPIPE LESSONS Learn a new instrument under the instruction of the talented Doonaree Pipe Band! The Doonaree Pipe Band, a premier bagpipes ensemble, has won Champion Supreme Grade V two times at competitions and performs at St. Patrick's Day celebrations, parades, the Taste of Orland Park and more. Students will be learning on a practice chanter, which should be purchased separately; please have the chanter for the first lesson. No music experience is necessary to join. As students progress, they will be integrated into the Doonaree Pipe Band. No class July 9 & 16.

Incorporated on May 25, 1993, the Doonaree Pipe Band is a member of the Midwest Pipe Band Association, competing at Grade V. They are honored to have won Champion Supreme Grade V two times! The Doonaree Pipe Band performs at St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, parades, the Taste of Orland Park and are also available for weddings and funerals.
