IMPORTANT PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION INFORMATION Should the class of your choice fill, two attempts will be made to reach you by phone to offer you a second choice. To increase placement chances, please include your daytime phone number. A $50 non- refundable deposit, a credit card number (if choosing the payment plan) and a copy of your child’s certified birth certificate are due when registering—no exceptions. PLEASE NOTE: Your payment and registration will not be complete until a copy of a birth certificate is received. Classroom assignments will be given at the parent meeting in August, prior to the start of class. NOTE: If your child requires special assistance, please see page 114 for ADA and Inclusion accommodations. After registration, please contact the Special Recreation Senior Program Coordinator at 708.403.6202. PRESCHOOL & PRESCHOOL PLUS PAYMENT PLAN INFORMATION A credit card number is required if choosing the payment plan. Payments will automatically be charged on *scheduled date if prior payment has not been made. No refunds will be given after December 5. Our Preschool program is designed to provide your child with the opportunity to develop skills needed for individual learning and play. The program includes academics, arts and crafts, games, socialization and field trips, with emphasis on motor coordination. Preschool is a continuous program beginning in September and ending in May. Children must reach the age of 3 or 4 years on or before September 1, 2026, and must be toilet trained. We cannot make any exceptions.

BIRTH CERTIFICATES REQUIRED A government-issued birth certificate for all children 5 years of age and younger is required at initial registration. This will help ensure equal opportunity for all registrants. Birth certificates can be brought to the Sportsplex or emailed to orlandrecreation@orlandpark.org. See page 114 for more information. Hospital copies will not be accepted!

PRESCHOOL PLUS Extend your preschooler’s day to get ready for Kindergarten. Children will eat lunch as a group before engaging in afternoon activities. Preschool Plus is intended for children with the ability to handle a longer school day with an increased attention span. Your child will benefit from a longer school day with additional engagement to develop greater academic confidence and self-sufficiency. Your child must be enrolled in a senior preschool program in order to register for this class. Preschool Plus is a continuous program beginning in September and ending in May.
