STELLWAGEN COMMUNITY GARDEN Built on the historic Stellwagen Farm property, the new Stellwagen Community Garden provides the opportunity for gardeners of all skill levels to cultivate their green thumbs. This gardening space will provide raised 10’x4’ gardening beds and soil for the community to rent and grow vegetables and flowers each year. You will provide your own seeds, fertilizer, gardening tools and watering can (water is accessible from a pump near the entrance of the farm). All beds will be in full sunlight. NOTE: You must register in person at the Village of Orland Park Sportsplex. Gardens must be cleaned up by December 1. NEW

PAINT AND SIP Join us for some wine and art fun! Learn different paint techniques, get creative and bring home a masterpiece after class. Art supplies and alcohol provided. Please dress for the weather because we will be outside.

FROM GARDEN TO PORCH

Driving Sustainability, For Tomorrow ® We care about our communities. That’s why we’re advancing smarter ways to manage waste and recycling and expanding ways to turn organic material into renewable energy. Because for us, it’s about more than waste management — it’s about providing solutions today that support a more sustainable tomorrow.

In this make and take program, guests will learn how to build their own outdoor porch pot filled with spring flowers and greenery, making it a perfect garden decoration for the upcoming months. All supplies (pots, soil, annuals) will be included and guests will be able to take their completed porch pots home. NOTE: This event will take place outside, so dress for the weather.
