OWLS BAGS Join the Owls Bags Team and prepare for UNIFIED SPORTS Unified Sports joins individuals with and without intellectual disabilities to participate on the same team. Special Recreation offers four Unified Sports: Bocce, Bags, Golf and Bowling. Families must provide a partner if they are interested in participating in a Unified Sports competition, which can be a family member or friend. Benefits of participating include respect, understanding, acceptance, with the main concept of promoting social inclusion through sport. Please contact Justin Banks at jbanks@orlandpark.org / 708.403.6241 for more information. OWLS / U.S. GOLF Athletes can choose from three, six, or nine hole competition along with unified match play. Participants will work on hand eye coordination, balance and mental toughness.
