SENIOR LUNCHEON

CITIZENS’ POLICE ACADEMY

The Orland Park Police Department hosted its annual Senior Luncheon at the Orland Park Civic Center on October 14. The event allowed senior residents to listen to updates on public safety in the Village and ask the department questions. The annual Orland Park Police Department’s Citizens’ Police Academy (CPA) was held Monday, November 11 at the Orland Park Police Department Timothy J. McCarthy Building. Attendees were able to see some of the responsibilities police officers have, as well as view presentations on traffic stops, DUIs, and evidence collection.

SOUTHWEST SUBURBAN SAFETY FORUM Orland Park, Tinley Park and Cook County Commissoner Sean Morrison co-hosted the second annual Southwest Suburban Safety Forum on December 4. It was an informative evening full of fantastic questions and conversation about keeping our suburbs safe. CRISIS CENTER FOR SOUTH SUBURBIA

In partnership with the Crisis Center for South Suburbia in Tinley Park, the Orland Park Police Department held a donation drive within the police department throughout the month of October. On November 8, Investigator Nickel and Officer Catchings gathered all the donations and made sure they were safely dropped off at the center.
