SALUTE TO VETERANS LUNCHEON The Orland Park Veterans Commission hosted its annual Salute to Veterans Luncheon on May 15 at Faith United Methodist Church. The celebration included lunch from City Barbeque, information from veterans support groups and musical entertainment. Thanks to those who attended! VILLAGE OF ORLAND PARK MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATION Memorial Day Celebration On Monday, May 26, the community came together to honor our veterans at the Village of Orland Park Veterans Memorial, Ara Pacé - Place of Peace (14700 S. Ravinia Ave.) The event featured a presentation of colors by Veterans Voices, words from Mayor Jim Dodge and singing of the national anthem and God Bless America by the Orland Park Children’s Choir.
