The Orland Park Public Library serves the residents of the Village of Orland Park. The library moved into its award-winning 93,000 square foot building in September 2004. Patrons of all ages have access to a well-rounded collection of both print and non-print materials, educational and recreational programs, computers and instructional computer classes, excellent reference service, outreach programs for seniors and homebound patrons and storytimes for children.

THE LIFE OF JACKIE KENNEDY

January 21 | 6:30 - 8 p.m. | Wednesday It is one year after her husband’s assassination and the former first lady, besieged by tourists and paparazzi, is struggling to cope. As she attempts to determine her next step, she looks back on her life, sharing stories about her marriage, her fight for privacy amidst intense media scrutiny, her work to restore the White House and her attempts to showcase the arts. Historian and actress Leslie Goddard portrays Jackie Kennedy in this unforgettable portrayal where you will meet the private woman behind the public myth.
