The Village of Orland Park invites you to contribute to local history by signing up for an Orland Park Heritage Sites annual membership! Your membership will support exhibits, programs and preservation projects. A membership also provides free or discounted admission to special events and programs. Memberships may be purchased at the Sportsplex office, Village Hall cashier’s office or online at orlandpark.org/heritagesites. HERITAGE SITES MEMBERSHIP

Vintage Base Ball Game SATURDAY, JULY 18 12:30 p.m. | Stellwagen Farm

Come out and enjoy the fifth annual vintage base ball game at Stellwagen Farm and be transported back to the 1860s! The fun begins at 12:30 p.m. with a presentation of historic base ball tunes by the Southwest Community Concert Band. At 1:15 p.m., the game begins! A food truck selling ball game favorites will be on site and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

Local Heritage and Folk Tunes SATURDAY, AUGUST 29 1 p.m. | Stellwagen Farm

Join the Village of Orland Park and the Tinley Park Historical Society as we present two incredible folk music performances rich with local heritage in conjunction with the 250th Anniversary of the United States. Chris Vallillo is an award-winning folk musician who weaves original, contemporary and traditional songs and narratives into a compelling and entertaining portrait of the history and lifestyles of the Midwest. Vallillo has performed around the country, including the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum and Library, The Gettysburg National Battlefield Museum and the Abraham Lincoln Home National Historic Site.
