As we move into the summer season, there is much to look forward to. From concerts and community celebrations to senior and recreational programs, there are countless ways to stay active, engaged and connected. I encourage you to review the calendar in this publication and take advantage of the many opportunities designed specifically with our senior community in mind. This summer also offers special occasions to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary and the pride we share in our community. I hope you will join us at upcoming events like the America 250 Independence Day Celebration and the Taste of Orland Park, as we gather with neighbors, honor traditions and create new memories together. Dear Orland Park Seniors,
I hope you are enjoying the start of summer. This time of year offers an opportunity to reflect on the people who have shaped our community and I am especially grateful for the generations of residents who have helped make Orland Park such a special place. The past several months have been filled with opportunities to celebrate our community and engage with one another. I want to thank everyone who attended the State of the Village Address this spring and all those who participated in the many events, discussions and programs throughout the year. These gatherings remind us of the value of staying connected, sharing ideas and building relationships that make Orland Park such a welcoming place to call home.
