BIKE & WALKING PATHS The beauty of Orland Park can be enjoyed daily, soaking in the sunshine and breathing in the fresh, brisk air among our intricate system of walking and bike paths. Every year the Village works to expand and improve these paths. Currently, 34 Village parks are an integral part of this system with direct access. See pages 82-83 to discover which park near you provides access to your next walk or ride through nature.

FISHING Beautiful Lake Sedgewick in Orland Park is know for it’s fishing, but did you know that there are 17 lakes within the Village where you can enjoy this peaceful pastime? Turn the page to learn of all the popular fishing locations.

BOCCE BALL Originating in Italy, bocce dates back to the Roman Empire. It is a fun indoor/ outdoor pastime that can be played on an open lawn or in bocce courts. Two to eight players can participate on two teams and aim to get thier ball the closest to the pallino, a smaller ball used as the target. Orland Park has 16 courts in eight of its parks. Find one near you on pages 82-83. DISC GOLF Also known as Frisbee Golf, this highly active sport involves a flying disc thrown at a target with rules similar to golf. You can experience nine holes of Frisbee Golf at Doogan Park, located at 14760 Park Lane.
