Day Camp Philosophy The Village of Orland Park Recreation & Parks Department recognizes the need to provide an alternative, safe, supervised summer environment where children can find companionship and enjoy recreation opportunities. Goals The Day Camp Program strives to provide campers with the opportunity for fun in an environment that is positive, supervised and safe. Campers also practice and develop appropriate social skills while learning to make responsible choices. Program Highlights All activities are designed and coordinated by the Day Camp staff for children in 6th grade-7th grade . 2025 Adventurers can look forward to (activities subject to change): • Swim days at Centennial Pool. • Field trips & onsite entertainment • Sports, arts & STEM Daily Schedule 5-day campers attend 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday-Friday. 3-day campers attend 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Camper drop-off begins at 8:50 a.m.-9 a.m. If an earlier drop-off is needed, please register for Breakfast Club. Campers are released from camp promptly at 3 p.m. Please do not arrive before 2:50 p.m. for pick-up. If a later pick-up time is needed, please register for Camp Plus. Late Arrival Campers may arrive no later than 11 a.m. After 11 a.m., your child will be considered absent and not accepted into camp that day. 2
