WHAT IS SHIP?

SHIP is a free health insurance counseling service for Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers and it is available to everyone. WHAT CAN PLOWS DO FOR ME? We provide counseling for older adults & adults with disabilities to help them determine the best match to meet their needs and save on healthcare costs. We can help beneficiaries with information listed here:

• Medicare (Parts A and B) • Medicare Supplement Insurance • Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C) • Prescription Drug Coverage (Part D) • Low Income Subsidy (LIS) or extra help from Social Security for prescription drug costs • Medicaid programs • Medicare Medicaid Alignment Initiatve (MMAI) • Medicare Savings Program (MSP) to cover Medicare Part B premium • Long-term Care Insurance • Medicare Claims and Appeals • Medicare Beneficiary Rights and Guarantees
