Absences/Leaving Early If your child will be absent from camp, please call your Camp Coordinator, Gabrielle at 708.341.2458 prior to the start of camp to prevent delaying activities. If your child needs to leave early from camp, please text your Program Coordinator at 708.341.2458 with your camper’s name and the time your camper will be picked up. Your camper will be considered absent for the remainder of the day and may not return. Drop-Off Policy Staff will be available no earlier than 8:50 a.m. to check-in campers at the Franklin Loebe Center ( FLC). • Drop-off and pick-up will be from the FLC parking lot. • Display the camp dashboard sign on the driver side dashboard. Camp colors will be emailed the week of June 2. Dashboard signs will be sent home with your camper Cars form a single line, entering from the Recreation Administration north driveway, then follow through the parking lot as indicated on page 4. • Follow through the west parking lot and pull up to the FLC entrance to let your camper out with Staff waiting at the designated spot. • Campers must exit the vehicle from the passenger side. Pick-Up Policy In the event of an emergency, parents must arrange alternate transportation for picking up their child. The Village of Orland Park has a three-strike policy for late pick-ups. • A written warning will be given for the first three occasions in which a parent/guardian is more than 10 minutes late picking up their child. on the first day of camp.
