You’ll learn some aviation techniques in the ‘paper sense’. Each participant will earn their pilot’s license by flying their airplane through hoops suspended in the air and landing their airplane on the deck of a model aircraft carrier. It’s high flying fun! Inspire kids to learn the value of recycling in this fun-filled class! Your child will transform your recycled egg cartons, cardboard tubes, and milk containers into new artistic creations. A list of the needed recyclable items will be given out the first day of class. Kean Ave., Palos Hills FEE: $120.00(R)/$150.00(N) Horseback Riding Lessons NEW location! Orland Park Recreation Department has teamed up with New Traditions Riding Academy, LLC and their qualified staff of instructors to develop riders from basic balance seat into western, huntseat, dressage, and saddleseat styles of riding. Riders must wear long pants, closed-toe shoes and safety helmets. Helmets are available for rental each week. Five 1-hour lesson times are arranged through the school. Once you have registered with the Village of Orland Park, call the riding school at (708) 598-7718 to set up your lessons schedule. Please bring your receipt to the first lesson.
