INSTRUCTOR: John Kowalkowski, Microsoft Certified Trainer AGE: 18 & up // LIMIT: 12 // FEE: $120.00(R)/$180.00(N) LOCATION: Cultural Center, Room 203 Word 2010 - Level 1 This course is intended for people who want to learn the beginning level of Word 2010 skills and explore the useful features of the program. Students will learn how to create, edit, proof read, and print their documents. You will also learn how to change the look of text and paragraphs, adding graphic elements, pictures, backgrounds, and WordArt. These techniques are especially useful for personal or business pieces such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, and resumes. PROGRAM#: 72410 // DATE: Sep 16 to Sep 25 DAY: Monday & Wednesday // TIME: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Excel 2010 - Level 1 This course will cover exploring the Excel 2010 program and its many useful customizing features. Students will learn how to create workbooks, worksheets, tablets, and beginning level formulas and calculations. You will also learn how to work with data by formatting the cells to present in color, character, or theme. Finally, printing your workbooks for distribution. PROGRAM#: 72411 // DATE: Oct 29 to Nov 7 DAY: Tuesday &Thursday // TIME: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM SENIOR WEEK 2013 Mark your calendar for the annual Sportsplex Senior Week. This week has been designed for the 55+ crowd and will include activities such as wellness lectures, a walking club, senior aerobics, weight training for seniors, refreshments, raffle prizes and more! Come join us on the last day as we gather for the Senior 100, a fun exercise class.
