Pickleball

9:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Monday - Friday Sportsplex – Pickleball Court

Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two, three, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a whiffle ball, over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules similar to tennis, with a few modifications. Pickleball is available at the Sportsplex Monday thru Friday from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM, with Monday, Wednesday and Friday geared toward beginner/open play, and Tuesday and Thursday for the Intermediate/Advanced players.

4:00 PM - 5:30 PM | Thursday Cultural Center – RM 203 Canvas Painting

Let’s bring our inner Picasso to life through our new Canvas Painting class at the Cultural Arts Center. Each class will be instructed by Mary Mucci, owner of Arts and Crafts Studio by Mucci World in Tinley Park. A list of supplies will be provided upon registration. The canvas pallet will be provided by the instructor.
