GETTING AROUND Staying updated on current and upcoming road improvement projects in town this summer can make getting around a breeze. Road improvement projects are currently planned for this construction season in several neighborhoods in Orland Park. • 142nd Street Storm Sewer Improvement • Orland Golfview Pavement Reconstruction • Sterling Ridge Pavement Rejuvenation • Breckenridge, Marley Creek Pavement Reconstruction • Park Hill Drive Pavement Reconstruction • 183rd Street Sidewalk extension 2014 Road Improvement Program The 2014 Road Improvement Program includes curb, sidewalk and storm sewer repairs along with the reconstruction of pavement in Marley Creek Subdivision, Breckenridge Subdivision and Park Hill Drive. This project also includes the installation of an underdrain along 142nd Street west of Lagrange Road, and a sidewalk extension along 183rd Street east of Orland Parkway. These areas are included in the 2014 Road Improvement Program. Additional streets or neighborhoods may be added to this project depending on available funding. Additionally, the village will be treating portions of the newly (2013) surfaced pavement in the Sterling Ridge Subdivision with two different types of pavement rejuvenators. These trial areas will be used to help determine the feasibility of a future, larger scale treatment program.
