From China to Orland Park... A delegation from the Guangdong Province of China visited Orland Park in late September. Their intention was to learn how Orland Park attracts, grows and retains business while being environmentally responsible.

The Guangdong Province delegation were treated to a performance by Carl Sandburg High School's Pop Acapella choir 'Eloquence' at the onset of their visit.

Orland Park Mayor Dan McLaughlin handled the introductions and greeted visitors. The presentation began with a history of Orland Park, included a tour of the LEED Gold Certified police facility and ended with a tour of the village.
