Sing along with us and spend time together connecting with music! Board-certified music therapists from Greater Chicago Music Therapy Inc., will help us use a variety of music and instruments to actively engage, make holiday music together, and learn how music benefits our brains and well-being. No musical experience is needed! This virtual event is for people living with dementia and other forms of cognitive impairment and their care partners. Registration Required. December TBD | Visit Website For More Details COVID-19 Zoom Update When the pandemic began, Pathlights was one of the first to quickly organize a local healthcare event with a leading infectious disease expert to inform and educate the community about the virus and its impact on the aging community. Since March 2020, we’ve hosted eight virtual presentations featuring the latest news and updates from Dr. Michael Ison, MD MS FIDSA FAST, Professor, Divisions of Infectious Diseases and Organ Transplantation, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. This monthly meet up is for family caregivers to share experiences, encouragement, advice, and discuss community resources for themselves and the older relative, friend, or neighbor they care for.
