Each lesson is perfectly tailored to your age, skill level, background and area of artistic interest to allow you to improve and resharpen your skills and build a portfolio with guidance and feedback from the instructor. LANDSCAPE & FLORALS PAINTING If you admire the sketchy application of paint, the visible brushstrokes and intensive use of color, this is the perfect class for you! Learn how to use broken colors to illustrate depth and movement. Create stunning contrast between warm and cool colors using large brushes and palette knives. Acrylic and oils methods will be demonstrated step-by-step. All supplies are included. NEW LOCATION

ADULT ART SURRENDER Abstract painting is perfect for emerging to advanced artists looking for practice in a relaxing environment and creating visually appealing artwork that others admire. Abstract artists capture the spirit and essence of a landscape, portrait or subject by incorporating variety of materials and techniques to infuse natural light, color and movement into their paintings. You will explore composition, selection of art materials, color concepts and texture while creating original tonal value, complementary color, still life and landscape paintings from your favorite images and direct observation. ADULT WATERCOLOR PAINTING

Learn watercolor techniques such as wet-in-wet, negative painting, use of masking fluid, spattering or color sponging, salt scraping and more in this very popular medium with various subject matters. This class is geared for beginning to intermediate students with instruction as each student repeats steps shown as a reference. Special attention will be made to color mixing, good composition and perspective. Supply list available at registration.
